LIT PROGRAM

leaders in training ☆ amplify juniors + seniors

We know that teens are more than capable of taking the reins, creating incredible work, and effecting serious change. But, does anyone else just hear “the death of fun” when parents and teachers wax on about “responsibility”..? Welcome to our interpretation of LEADERSHIP: growth and confidence-building as it should be. Our intentional leader-in-training (LIT) program within Amplify is going to blow your mind this summer.

While this program takes place within Amplify, LITs are really completing a unique capstone program full of decision-making, special privileges, skill-building, and hands-on mentorship—both receiving and giving it! The dedicated mentor guides LITs through targeted leadership training in the form of challenging electives, personalized check-ins, and more. LITs even plan and lead their very own electives for younger campers.

She possesses qualities I don’t see in many youth today, qualities that make her a great leader in every sense of the word. Knowing her has given me so much real hope for the future.” —Marley, Instructor, about one incredible camper-turned-LIT-turned-staff
