Our campers follow their dreams, try incredible new things, and gain lifelong friends and positive role models in a safe and supportive environment. Campers also move throughout Amplify with their own age groups, including dorm assignments/location, electives, and creative tracks. NEW THIS YEAR
1 week at the start of summer just for grades 5–8 ★ multiple 2- and 4-week sessions for grades 6–12 ★ 1 week at the end of summer just for grades 3–6
One week at the beginning and end of summer just for our youngest campers! Just like our 2-week sessions, campers get the full track experience with creating original songs or photo portfolios, plus off-campus trips to the beach, local water park, or downtown Ojai, as well as fun on-campus electives, games, crafts, dance parties, final showcase, and more. THE CREATIVE TRACKS
Campers choose a specialty (we call ‘em TRACKS) to focus on during each session of Amplify. Some campers sign up for a different track for each session they’re enrolled in, and some stay with the same track for the whole season. There’s no wrong way to AMPLIFY YOUR VOICE.

No matter where you land, you’ll have about a million opportunities to dabble in lots of artistic areas and work alongside campers from other tracks. We love TEAMWORK and co-creation.
rock band track
Our campers have a blast learning an instrument, forming a collaborative band, writing an original song, and performing on stage for the entire camp community. Camper bands can be any genre under the sun! Indie, pop, metal, folk, R&B, funk, blues…whatever your authentic voices are. NEW THIS YEAR: Campers who choose vocals as their “instrument” have the option of being in a band in the afternoon OR joining our a cappella choir (both of which perform at the final showcase).
rock band intensive track
Intermediate and higher levels of musicianship in your chosen instrument required to sign up for this track. Campers focus entirely on developing songwriting, arrangement, and collaborative skills in band practice. Play guitar, drums, bass, keys, sing, or bring an instrument from home. Take both your playing and your songwriting to the next level with other youth who are at a similar skill level and age group.
music production track
Learn how to write your own music using Ableton software sequencer and digital audio workstation (DAW). Option to play in a band in the afternoon! Walk away from camp with not only a toolbelt bursting with modern music production skills like music theory, recording, and beat making, but also a totally polished original demo to be shared with the whole camp community at our awesome showcase and then overnighted to our own Syryn Records!

Young visionaries learn extensive photography skills such as light and composition while creating a personal portfolio of thematic images based on self directed passions. Campers learn post production skills using editing tools like Photoshop and Lightroom, culminating in a vibrant slideshow set to music to be premiered at our camp showcase.
leaders in training (lit) program
All campers entering their junior or senior year of high school automatically participate in our LIT program. LITs get all the fun of camp, but also learn how to design and lead electives and develop other leadership skills, like public speaking, mentorship, and collaborating on capstone projects. Our young leaders participate daily in their chosen tracks while also taking weekly leadership electives with their own dedicated LIT mentor. LITs also get their own special overnight bonding trip!

We’re so grateful to partner with Besant Hill School in Ojai to facilitate our life-changing summer camp. We can’t decide what we love most—the like-minded leadership, the 520 private acres, or the stunning panoramic views of the Topa Topa Mountains and Ojai Valley.

Every session we embark on multiple incredible day trips, like local beaches, water parks, Downtown Ojai, overnight campouts, and more. Plus, for our campers who sign up for our 4-week sessions…

private lessons
Optional private lessons are individualized to campers’ unique goals and interests. Private lessons are available in every subject/creative track taught at camp and afford campers a whole 45 mins of instructors’ undivided guidance.
They’re first come, first served and fill up fast. Please book no later than a week before your session begins.

However, a “veteran” camper can encourage new campers to sign up, and there is no limit to how many times this discount can be applied!
