health + wellness coordinator

Distributes medication and tends to first aid and other immediate physical care for campers as needed. Other tasks include ensuring the health center is properly maintained, admin tasks, parent/guardian phone calls, arrival day intake health checks, and other assistance as needed. Must be CPR and first aid certified. EMTs, school nurses, nursing/medical students, and similar encouraged to apply.

camp care specialist

Acts as a resource to campers and staff to develop coping mechanisms and sense of independence in order to return to programming feeling secure and supported. Must have advanced skills in trauma-informed communication, stress management, conflict resolution, and mediation. Also develop and lead up to 3 age-appropriate social justice and/or mental health skills development workshops for campers. This position has a flexible schedule and is open to licensed counselors, students or graduates still working toward their license.


am lead + class coordinator

Part of the leadership team, this mentor ensures all aspects of programming and communication occur seamlessly in the 1st half of the day. This is done by assisting, supporting, supervising, and coordinating B (morning) and C (afternoon) counselors, instructors, wellness team, trips counselors, transportation providers, and designing and leading morning assemblies. Must be proficient in 2+ instruments and also have superb public speaking and leadership/mentorship skills.

pm lead + live sound engineer

Part of the leadership team, this mentor ensures all aspects of programming and communication occur seamlessly in the 2nd half of the day. This is done by assisting, supporting, supervising, and coordinating A (evening) counselors, transportation providers and wellness team. Must be be able to run sound through professional sound board and have a general understanding of sound engineering and stage management for camper bands, guest performers, karaoke, and dance parties. The PM lead also develops curriculum for and leads evening assemblies.


trips + outdoor activities (toa) coordinator

Must be 25+ years old with a clean class C or higher driving record and ability to safely operate and maintain a minivan, large SUV, and/or 16 passenger van. Responsible for all aspects of day and overnight excursions; also assists with onsite outdoor activities and counselor roles as needed. This includes planning and leading overnight camping trips, beach days, etc. Logistics include booking/honoring reservations, maintaining a tight schedule, leading accompanying counselors, staying on budget for trips, and more.

instructor

Instructors needed for the following: bass, guitar, drums, keys, vocals/a cappella choir, music production, and photography. Multi-instrumentalists to the front!! Must have strong ability to build curriculum and teach mixed beginner to advanced classes in at least one of the above areas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to guiding students in learning or improving skills, help with their projects, and including them in aspects of daily group and private lessons. Must have solid problem-solving skills ranging from equipment management to interpersonal dynamics. Should be able to lift heavy equipment alone or in pairs.


counselor

Counselors needed for the following: skateboarding, arts/crafts/games, music activities, lifeguard/water activities, residential evening, leaders in training (LIT), DJing, and trips/travel. While all counselors are generally responsible for the supervision, safety, and well-being of their campers within any given activity, the specific skills and schedule required of each counselor varies widely per the above areas. For example, the Music Activities Counselor must be a multi-instrumentalist with proficiency in teaching thoughtful, mission-based workshops and activities related to 3+ of the following: guitar, bass, drums, piano/keys, vocals, ukulele, songwriting, effect pedals, and/or Ableton.

year-round administrative associate

This is a year-round, in-person position with the potential to become full-time during summer (June–August) 2023. The administrative associate is responsible for a variety of tasks in support of our mission to serve girls through through music education, the creative arts, community, and positive mentorship. These tasks touch on every facet of the organization: operations, programs, development, events, marketing + PR, social media, etc. BIPOC women + gender-expansive humans strongly encouraged to apply.
